Morality, Morality
04:06
|
|||
deep inside happiness a spiraling path to madness.
and oh what a drag the strumpet's veil was gone.
even in bed at night the percolators burning.
searching in sadness for a place to be withdrawn.
angels deep in their hearts they worry like us.
angels a voice that's inside is singing melodious.
there's a light on the hill it's a merry-go-round.
candles burning blueberry scents in my mouth.
and i'm trying yeah i'm trying to escape this bakery.
it's not easy as it seems late in my dreams.
there's a stranger outside my door obsessed with the concept of money.
he disappears with every seven inch i play.
seeing double oh brother can you hear me.
moralities gone but it shines upon your face.
angels can you hear me now?
angels can you hear me now?
angels am i closer now?
angels will you see me now?
lately when eyes are closed the conceptual artist of morals.
he disappears when we're playing hide and seek.
at times they escape me at times i find them hungry.
but you're never alone when moralities still around.
angels deep in their hearts they worry like us.
angels a voice that's inside is singing melodious.
there's a light on the hill it's a merry-go-round.
candles burning blueberry scents in my mouth.
and i'm trying yeah i'm trying to escape this bakery.
it's not easy as it seems late in my dreams.

Winter's Path
03:39
|
|||
when the winter comes and all has turned to white
and you follow close behind.
all the way up to the light that we tried to reach
the snow melts away our footprint path.
distracted by the things that make me warm inside
like a candle's burning flame.
making scents that linger on and cool my mind.
too scared to run away.

Clouds
03:06
|
|||
what's this green surrounding me?
all you foes go back to sleep.
with the poison in your teeth.
what's this blue surrounding you?
all this change is killing me.
my head is up in the clouds.

there is beauty in the smallest things.
just take a look around and see what you can see.
i can see the glowing, it is so beautiful it makes me cry.
but it fades out and dies.
good things come to those who wait.
good things come to those who wait.
so wrap your arms around something lovely,
and sink your teeth into something that you can feel.
but don't hate me if things get ugly.
just simplify and tell me what is real?
good things come to those who wait.
good things come to those who wait.
so if you're trapped in a forest of lies,
and you can't find your way out of this place
and you know the night is coming
and you will have to face.
the constant thoughts of being alive,
the fear of falling, the way you will dive
into a place where you're out of your head,
and pretty soon you're begging to be dead.
my figurines won't save me
from all the monsters in my head.

Swan Song
03:04
|
|||
my dreams had ended,
but somewhere in my sleep.
a mother came to weep.
sweet child sings to me.
and i forget my memories.
on an island filled with snow.
it was the only place to go.
and we never found our homes,
on the island filled with snow.
milk was dripping
from the notches of my spine.
my lullaby was blind.
sweet lover cinnamon,
is shaped just like the wind.
i would be lying if i said i cared.
watching horses empty stares.
painted colors line the streets.
a place what used to be so neat.
i dreamt last night,
that you were hanging upside down.
and i don't remember how.
but you were never there.
because it was my nightmare.
on an island filled with snow.
it was the only place to go.
and we finally found our homes,
on the island filled with snow.

Empty Space
04:46
|
|||
it's your choice, make it now
use your voice, i'll show you how
skies of black, filled with paint
like the hue in the eye's of a saint
crying out tears of gold
working hard, do as you're told
colors help fill the
empty space inside of me
i can't tell what the future holds
but in due time it all unfolds
hearts of black, filled with paint
like the stars in an empty space

Sweet Disease
04:22
|
|||
you fell for lust,
but your body was empty.
and you were only searching,
for a manger to be born in.
first you must learn,
you're not some second hand savior,
and i'm having fun inside my furnace alone.
if you'd like to join me,
you must first learn to leave.
oh, sweet disease.
meditating on steeples up high,
in a church on some carnival ride,
and a man in a costume for two,
wants to breathe in the ocean.
and maybe in laughter you'll find how to care,
but you won't find the answer if you don't have a prayer.
and marching bands will play the parade and sing praise to the land
(praise to the land for the carnival ride as we sing the praise to the bride)
that we kill so sweetly sucking the life from it's veins as she cries.
(of the sun and the stars and the moon will shine bright for you one day)
maybe in sickness you'll find the disease,
but you won't find the answer between your teeth.
when you were breathing.
you were stealing time.
you had a dream,
religious ecstasy.
what could it mean,
to live inside your mind?
they're angry now,
i've cured the wrong disease.
don't waste your time,
pretending not to be.
if you have a problem.
then don't turn to me.
oh, sweet disease.
eyes locked on some ferris wheel ride,
as it begs to become intertwined.
and when you feel you are ready to die.
just lose yourself in light.
and even when you've fallen you know it's ok.
cause the warm metal turns and it catches your weight.
and when i die i'll slumber so sweetly and satisfy deeply,
(thinking of time on the ferris wheel ride as you fly without wings)
that even dreams are realer to me than the life half remembered.
(closer to something thats sweeter than life as you find the disease)
and somewhere in sickness you'll find you are gone.
and realize the last time you sang to the swan.
when you were falling.
you had lost your mind.

Inside
05:01
|
|||
desires, you can wait.
feel the fires that you hate.
days flow so slowly.
chains wrapped around me.
stuck between the divide.
nobody here can hide.
pulled apart, broken in.
fighting till i win.
following close behind.
how have i been so blind?
days flow so slowly.
chains wrapped around me.
stuck between the divide.
nobody here can hide.
inside
days flow so slowly.
chains wrapped around me.
stuck between the divide.
nobody here can hide.

Ashes
05:05
|
|||
the scientist feeds on the ashes of his machine.
and as he cries, he wishes he could fall out of routine.
cause he wants to be like me, and i want to let him see.
what he doesn't know, i'm part of his machine.
the kids would wear their masks,
to hide their face,
from something so beautiful,
they call it mother nature's mistake.
the minister feeds on the ashes of his love.
a baby boy taken so early from above.
but he wants to see the grave, he wants to see his child's grave.
and oh, the father's face is part of his machine.
the kids would wear their masks,
to hide their face,
from something so beautiful,
they call it mother nature's mistake.
open your neptune eyes,
and see nothing but what's in my mind.
and i can feel god inside my bones.
he whispers so soft but it aches in my soul.
(your eyes are soaked in jewelry)
the scientist feeds on the ashes of his words,
and as he cries he sets fire to all the birds.
but he wants to be them, he wants to set his body free.
but he understands, he'll ruin the machine.
the kids would wear their masks,
to hide their face,
from something so beautiful,
they call it mother nature's mistake.

Your Elegant Emeralds
07:01
|
|||
suspended into space like birds flying around.
serving our purpose till we hit the ground.
when your every wish is fulfilled,
do you still want more?
with your elegant emeralds so smooth,
you could give to the poor.
my movements still remain mysterious to me.
but a body in motion can live so free.
a body that doesn't move, ice crystals form.
i have everything i need and more.
how could i say i'm not ok when i'm ok.

how where you there?
in the vintage burnt photograph
they cracked your bones
your knee caps blistering fire
they worshiped the strangers
they met in the graveyard
how are they breathing?
they are thicker than life with their eyes
there are always planned hoaxes at night
seeing eyes
if you alter your mind
and let in the hollow lined
poison you feel
the knowledge you steal
you dress up in black and white
you lose touch your lucid sight
to bring you bad dreams
you try both extremes
and you fall into the captured mountains
you see faces at night in the car
and you feel like there is someone leaving their life behind you
your hands laid on their thighs
old roots from the blood mount rise
the leaves drip sweat into your skin
you taste it with the thought of your own sin
but like pieces of papers you read
(don't forget me)
the trees rip off their limbs
you follow them to limbo
with your self mutilated mind cycle
addicted to something you hated as a boy
you hated as a boy
there are faces in the front of your skull
seeming full
if you alter your mind
and let in the hollow lined
poison you feel
the knowledge you steal
you dress up in black and white
you lose touch your lucid sight
to bring you bad dreams
you try both extremes
and you leave into abandoned art shows
there are angels in the paintings you see
still you feel like there is someone leaving their life behind you
i wish i had been there, in the photograph.
it would be easier if i was behind the lens.
it would be easier if i had your eyes.
but i have the eyes of the first man.
i see only curves and only learn of things i see in books i read,
but if you show me how to be pulled down, i'd focus my ears to a single sound above.
experience change belief.
and i guess i should have gone through that trench with you.
to hold you hand and whisper hymns out loud,
and when the sun came out, i'm sure the ghosts were proud.
and when we came to, we would discuss.
how it felt like someone was leaving their life behind us.
